Miss Mercancía (2019) - work in proccess-

Im working on my new piece of video-performance, that is been madeing to talk about the violent male gaze reproduced by patriarchy cultural system in some spheres of colombian society. It is also a critic of the gender stereotypes reproduced by advertising and beauty constest that are so common in Colombia.
I am reflecting this piece from the Biopower (or biopouvoir in French) concept/theory proposed by Focault, and also from the question:

How many times has patriarchy made you feel like a piece of meat?

Here are just my sketches, and some images and video from my creative proccess. Enjoy! and please leave me a comment if you are a women that felt indetify with the question/feeling. Share your story and let´s create this piece togheter :) -Silence kills-
Transparent note: I will not share your identity and story with no body else than a conversation by e-mail with you, if you are agree.
