Diana Lucia impresses the people through her culture, enthusiasm and intelligence. It is a real pleasure to see how her collaboration in projects like "Crosswlaks for Life" and her participation in social awareness events about women victims of gender violence, sensitize us, inspire us and leave us thinking critically. Her dedication and passion for study is admirable and in the face of adversity in these difficult times for Humanity, Diana Lucia gives us an example of tenacity and persistence, to accomplish what her  soul desires. She really transforms everything she touches.

"I worked with Diana Lucia. During this time she was an excellent collaborator, she is creative, proactive and fits easily into work teams, communicates well with words and image, is punctual, responsible and organized.

Personally I would work with her again, if I had the opportunity, she is the one I call: A brave girl. ”

(...) I would like to point out that as a student she has been truly exceptional, she has fulfilled both the program of studies and the challenge of actively joining academic mobility and exchange projects that have led her to carry out research stays in Mexico City, Bogotá, Vancouver, Berlin and Granada, which have provided her with experiences that have enriched her doctoral research. In parallel to her studies, she has collaborated with me in different research projects on issues related to gender studies, art for social change and regional studies, which allow me to say that she has more than enough research experience to aspire to a job that requires a professional profile focused on the social sciences. (...)

I have no doubt about her professional, ethical and self-improvement qualities, which make her an ideal candidate for any position she aspires to.

One of the main qualities of Diana Lucia Mariño Puentes and that I consider very valuable is her great availability to work in a team, her efficient handling of the English language and great gift of people.

She is an incredibly inspiring feminist artivist. She is one of the most passionate, expressive, and embodied individuals I have ever met. I wholeheartedly endorse her. I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with her for the past four years. I met her when I began formally studying feminist philosophy in the university; we quickly formed a bond that led to collaborations on various projects. We were founders in the “Paloma Feminista” collective, in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. We used this platform as a vehicle to create and diffuse media about machismo, rape culture, feminicide and violence against women. Her passion for using art as a vessel of change led to the first feminist arts festival in the state, where she was lead coordinator as well as performer. She is tireless when she commits to a cause and knows how to reach out to her support system to recharge her batteries. Outside of the collective, I have watched her funnel immense amounts of energy into community change through arts interventions. I have seen her dance, paint, draw, sing, present, and write with unbridled conviction for justice and equality in marginalized communities. For as much as I admire her as an artist, she is also a brilliant academic capable of absorbing and crafting intricate scholarly work while maintaining the ability to transmit that knowledge outside academia. She will make a phenomenal multifaceted asset to your organization. Feel free to contact me for further inquiries.

I met Lucia (Diana) Mariño four years ago in La Paz, Mexico. Since then, I have been able to realize that she is not only a creative but sensitive person when it comes to understand and transform complex social environments through art. Lucia’s sensibility and observation capacity has allowed her to develop successful interventions that bring together the community, allowing them to interact through art, as she did with the Zebras project. As a person, she is caring, committed and a critical thinker, a good combination when it comes to finding someone willing to transform reality from an honest, compassionate, and yet profound perspective. To me she is an invaluable friend and artist.

If you have any doubts or comments, please feel free to contact me, and I will be more than happy to discuss them.
